My Trip Home

So it was a LONG week and I needed a break!! I am so glad that I live only 2 1/2 hours away from home and have the opportunity to go home whenever!! Or until my parents get sick of me :)

This weekend was very busy though. Family friends of ours just had a daughter graduate from high school so we went to her party in Cleveland Saturday during the day. Then in the evening we went to a surprise going away party for my dad's best friend from the Air Force. He will be leaving this Thursday for his THIRD trip back to the middle East, going to Afghanistan this round. I am so thankful for the sacrifice our troops and my father have made for our freedom. We ended our quick trip up north by staying with Meme and Darrell Saturday evening and having a nice breakfast together the next morning. I am so thankful for my quick trip home and the opportunity to visit family and old friends.

I am with you- I love going home. It's such a nice break. I get to go to Utah tomorrow for a week and I am super excited.
